The High Tibetan Plateau

I'm at an Internet cafe in Shigatse, Tibet and I'll try to get some pictures up for you. If I fail, well, I done my best! This is a shot from the top of Kampa la Pass on the way go Gyangtse. THis is Yamdrok Lake, which means "scorpion" in Tibetan. In the background is one of many 7,000 meter plus mountains (23,000 feet) around here. Yes, the lake is indeed as blue as it appears.
