Last Day in Lhasa Tibet

Today marked the last full day of our visit to the city of Lhasa, Tibet. The morning was spent at the Jokhang Temple, another Buddhist hang-out in a city overrun with them.

Spent a good deal of time just wandering the streets again. Today, it was do or die, so I bought some things for Graham and June-Bug. Should be pretty good keepsakes. June is kind of picky though, so I just don't know . . . .

Here are some good pictures of the temple and surrounding areas. The first one is us approaching the temple and the two huge incense burners in front. Enjoy.

Off west tomorrow toward Everest. Three nights on the road before we make the final ascent. Hopefully I'll have some Internet there. If not, I'll save up my comments for Kathmandu and Bangkok.

Cheers!
